Design Description of Integrated Building Equipment Monitoring System

To fully achieve the technical indicators and functional requirements of smart buildings, this project establishes an integrated building equipment monitoring system to realize building equipment monitoring, power monitoring, lighting control, residual current detection, energy metering, building environment detection, energy efficiency management, and other building monitoring and management functions. The system equipment should include the distribution, conversion, protection, control, metering, and safety of electrical energy, as well as the monitoring, metering, control, and protection functions of the controlled equipment, along with human-machine control operations, information and status display, and network communication functions. The system shall comply with the requirements of Section 18.14 of the "Standard for Electrical Design of Civil Buildings" GB 51348-2019 for integrated building equipment monitoring systems.

The integrated building equipment monitoring system interconnects building equipment control systems through a network to form a comprehensive and integrated power supply, monitoring, and control system. The system's endpoints should be integrated control cabinets, manufactured using standardized production processes. The selection of components within the standardized electrical control units of the integrated cabinets must meet relevant national standards and drawing requirements.

The endpoints of the integrated building equipment monitoring system should be integrated control cabinets. The integrated control cabinets should adopt a standard cabinet structure, with the cabinet body, cables, and the structure and connection relationships of the electrical control units inside the cabinets manufactured according to the detailed structural drawings of the finalized integrated control cabinets. The electrical control units inside the integrated control cabinets should employ effective anti-interference measures and possess an electromagnetic compatibility test report from a nationally certified center.

To ensure convenient operation, maintenance, safety, and reliability for project operation, the integrated building equipment monitoring system should use a single software suite to achieve building equipment monitoring, power monitoring, lighting control, residual current detection, energy metering, building environment detection, energy efficiency management, and other functions, while enabling real-time and historical data interoperability and interface integration.

The integrated building equipment monitoring system should have communication interfaces with the Fire Alarm System (FAS) and the Security Technology Protection System (SAS).

The project includes a central control cabinet, platform software, real-time database software, 2D+/3D maps, and the project platform and cloud platform, enabling monitoring, management, operation, maintenance, and command of the project via computers or mobile devices.

The smart integrated control cabinet contains monitoring data such as power supply voltage, current, and circuit breaker status, supporting fire and non-fire power monitoring system functions.

Integrated control cabinets for daily-use lighting, supply and exhaust fans, air conditioning units, etc., have fire alarm linkage interfaces and I/O modules. Upon receiving a linkage signal, they stop equipment operation or cut off power and feedback status signals to the fire alarm linkage control module.

Sensors, actuators, motorized valves, fan coil air conditioners, and dimming lights at the load end are collected via bus control modules connected to the bus and linked to the integrated control cabinet, where edge computing and control logic are performed by the integrated equipment for control.

Sensors monitoring environmental data such as temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and air quality are all connected to the bus via bus modules.

Technical requirements: Dedicated integrated controller for air conditioning, rail-mounted installation, external energy efficiency monitoring module and three-phase mutual inductor, motor drive device and three-phase integrated mutual inductor, featuring smart power distribution, intelligent pump control, energy efficiency optimization, and device self-test functions. It cooperates with the CPS control and protection switch in the distribution box to provide comprehensive electromechanical integration functions such as phase loss, phase break, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, undercurrent, short circuit, leakage, and three-phase imbalance protection. Communication interfaces include RS485 and LAN, serving as a protocol gateway for integrated open access to communication terminals near the electrical control endpoints. The distribution box door is equipped with a high-definition touchscreen; includes an integrated anti-counterfeiting QR code supporting QR code scanning to monitor the device's full lifecycle status.
